You cannot get STD (sexually transmitted diseases) from yourself or masturbating alone or with a sex toy. You need to come in
contact with another partner WITH an STD to contract one. You cannot
get HIV from a sex toy unless you are sharing it with someone who is
positive and not cleaning between uses.
